Indian SUV leader, Mahindra & Mahindra lagged behind in all the actions that were taking place in sub-compact SUV segment. The maker finally went ahead launching its first actual sub-4 meter compact SUV that was built ground up – the TUV300.
The Mahindra TUV300 looks really aggressive and offers a traditional SUV stance even in its diminutive avatar. It hardly looks like any other mini SUV and has some similarity with Jeep Cherokee’s styling. Inspired by the battle tank, the TUV300’s visual appeal lies in its boxy conventional SUV design language, although the styling hasn’t gone down well with all stylish urban SUV buyers. Nevertheless, the hardcore Mahindra SUV lovers have nothing to complain about the TUV300 as it offers the same tough and brute visual appeal of the Mahindra SUV clan. The mini SUV’s butch stance is further enhanced with its square shaped wheel arches and large ten spoke 15-inch alloy wheels.
The TUV300 is a usual all-diesel SUV model from Mahindra, but offers an AMT gearbox choice. Although really tough looking on the outside, this sub-compact SUV model offers good comfort on the inside along with good amount of space. The vehicle is also loaded with a lot of creature comforts such as an infotainment system with Bluetooth, voice alerts and reverse parking sensor.
