Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe 2015 Review
The “baby S- class” has been around for a while now. It’s been well received by auto Enthusiasts globally and rightly so. The compact car makes for a perfect daily drive. The styling has taken cues from the big brother, the S-Class.
Now Mercedes has gone ahead and launched the C63 S AMG coupe. This is the evil twin of the C class. The car looks sharper, drives faster and handles better (and costs way more). There are many things that make this car quite successful in the business that include high performance engines, color and speed.
Let’s take a closer look at this beast.
To the layman, it looks very similar to the C-class but a closer look will explain you otherwise. The subtle styling makes the vehicle stand out in a very “Wolf under sheep’s clothing “ kind of manner.
The car has been given the typical AMG treatment and looks wider than the standard C-class. The front fascia of the car is extremely aggressive looking. The wheels have been given the perfect AMG treatment and the 19-inch beauties fit the cars styling like a glove.
The car has a wide but sharp looking back end, with the signature quad exhaust popping out. Those quad exhausts have a legacy of giving eargasms to auto enthusiasts for decades.
The first thing that comes to one’s notice is the beautiful new steering wheel especially crafted for this vehicle. The sports seats have been well crafted and fit perfectly well into the cabin. The touches on the interior trim use loads of sporty carbon fiber and this validates the “S” badge at the backend of the vehicle. Apart from that, everything is close to standard with the infotainment and works pretty much the same.

Under the hood
Mercedes betrays us with the C63 badging. The C63 was known to have a naturally aspirated 6.3 Liter monster that tore your eardrums along with your rear wheel tyres. This new variant gets a twin turbo 4.0 Liter V8 engine. Now one of the most iconic things of the vehicle has been stripped away from it and this should make us angrier. The twin turbo charged smaller capacity engine performs better than its predecessor and saves your fuel as well. It’s a win-win situation!
The car runs a 0-100 kmph in about 3.9 seconds, which basically speaks for itself! The engine makes about 469 horsepower and 479 pound per foot of torque (more then any version of its predecessor). If you’re the kind of person that goes all out- you could pay about 10,000$ more and have the good guys at AMG bump up the power to 503 Bhp and 516 pound per foot of torque. That’s complete madness and you should definitely do it if you do end up buying this vehicle!

Undoubtedly, the latest variant of one of the most iconic sports cars doesn’t disappoint. It sets a new milestone saying you don’t need big capacity engines to have fun (environmentalist’s should rejoice). 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S coupe is also known for its Stability control that remains fully intact after long drives.
The car doesn’t exactly look like it could go to a 100kmph from standstill in under 4 seconds. The engine is refined and still sounds as good (if not better) than the previous C63. So, if you are looking for luxury cars, that goes beyond excellence with technology packed inside, this is the one you need to look for. 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe is the best with sound engine and stunning exterior designs.
If you are looking for a new sports car in your garage get this monster and you’d always have a smile when you downshift (your wallet will be happy too).
